MANGA AGENT respects your privacy. This Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and retain personal data when operating shop.manga-agent.com, processing orders and providing support. We comply with Hong Kong’s Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and respect mandatory privacy rights in other jurisdictions where applicable.

Data we collect

Payments are processed by Shopify and payment providers. We generally do not receive your full card number.

Disclosure to service providers

We share data only as needed with providers such as Shopify, payment processors, warehouses, IT and analytics providers, and the carrier actually handling the order, including SF Express, Hongkong Post, FedEx, DHL, Yamato Transport and Sagawa Express. We may also disclose data where legally required, to protect rights, or in a business transaction. We do not sell personal data.

International processing

Because we serve customers in Hong Kong and overseas, data may be processed in Hong Kong, Japan or other locations where our providers operate. Privacy protections may differ. We use reasonable contractual and security measures for cross-border processing.

Cookies and analytics

Necessary cookies support the cart, login and checkout. We may also use analytics and marketing cookies. You can manage non-essential cookies through available privacy controls or your browser; disabling some cookies may affect website functions.

Retention and security

We retain data only as long as reasonably needed to fulfil orders, meet legal or accounting duties, resolve disputes and protect rights, and then delete, anonymise or securely dispose of it.
